Actresses Iza Calzado and Bianca King may not be sisters by blood, but they share a unique bond through their experiences as moms and wives – they even got pregnant almost at the same time! Join the two Mrs. Wintles as they relate their journeys of navigating motherhood and how this shared experience makes their sisterhood stronger.

While many of us are familiar with how Iza and her husband Ben Wintle met through their friend Isabelle Daza, the whirlwind romance of Bianca and Ralph Wintle is quite unknown to most.

In this episode, we learned that Ralph had been single for some time when his family and friends tried to set him up with other girls. Iza had also mentioned him to Bianca. During Iza and Ben’s wedding, which Bianca attended, Ralph delivered a heartfelt speech expressing his desire to find his own Mrs. Wintle. By the time he spoke, Bianca was already captivated, so she made sure to catch his attention during the party. “Binakuran ko,” she jestingly puts it.

Iza’s wedding was on December 19, and it was almost that same night when Bianca and Ralph developed a mutual understanding, nearly sharing the same anniversary date. Just days later, on December 25th, Ben and Iza were surprised to find Bianca as Ralph’s plus one at the Wintles’ family Christmas gathering. Everyone knew the two were a match.

Bianca and Ralph endured the trials of a long-distance relationship since they were frequently traveling overseas at the time. Despite the challenges, they both felt equally committed and determined to make their relationship work, giving them something to look forward to.

Bianca and Iza went on to share their bond as sisters-in-law. They go way back, making it natural for them to rely on each other when they became sisters.

They also credit motherhood for strengthening their bond. Conceiving almost simultaneously, and giving birth just three weeks apart (Iza in January 2023 and Bianca in March 2023), their daughters are like twin sisters. Last December, Iza's Deia Amihan and Bianca's Sadie Harlow met for the first time, and in January, they were both baptized on the same day.

Having her own village is vital for every new mom; Bianca wishes she had known this before giving birth. She reveals her struggles with postpartum blues and seeking professional help to combat her feelings of isolation. Meanwhile, Iza, despite her meticulous birthing preparations, also found herself grappling with unexpected emotional challenges. Delve deeper into their relatable experiences in the podcast!

Magandang Buhay The Podcast is hosted by Regine Velasquez, Jolina Magdangal, and Melai Cantiveros.
