Jane (Loisa Andalio) is still alive after all, but she is in a coma. That's the bombshell revelation that happened in ABS-CBN’s fantasy romantic-comedy, Love in 40 Days.”

Jane’s ghost was shocked to see her body lying on a hospital bed and in the care of her family members, who have been hiding her condition all along. Everyone believed that Jane had passed away in a tragic car accident for over a month already.

More secrets are also unfolding now that Jane knows that her apparent death was no accident and that someone actually wanted to end her life. As Jane tries to resolve things, her relationship with Edward (Ronnie Alonte) will face uncertainty.

Although Jane and Edward declared their love for one another, Jane is now unsure of his true intentions. The ongoing investigation into Jane’s incident is questioning Heaven’s Gate, the funeral homes owned by Edward’s family, since it seems that their business is involved in questionable transactions - which could be linked to Jane’s ‘death.’
