On maintaining his restaurant’s standards, he said, “We focus on training… we’re doing 60, 90, 120-day intense training, so we have managed to be consistent before we open. We have an amazing team. That level of consistency is crucial with the kind of feedback we’re getting from the customers. I love that intrusion of social media because we could be in New York and there’s a guest eating lunch here at Bar & Grill but we can get their feedback in an instant.”

He doesn’t prefer to be in the kitchen over being a social media personality or vice versa. Hence, he encouraged today’s generation to use and embrace social media as a platform to establish confidence in the global scene, to be known and to connect, to share their ideas with the world, and to learn from the platform. According to him, this modern and convenient platform could help people sell themselves and share the things they love to do, primarily, cooking. Social media, Gordon says, is “part of the food today.”

And with this, Gordon remarked, “Get dangers. Get creative… In food, you move with it or it moves you and we need to move it.”

And so that is crucial to find that balance. And if you don't get that, you get consumed, and then you can't think straight, and you can't review things. So I stick to an incredible triathlon, two a year, that keeps me on point, disciplined.”
