“I’m in a great place and living my life up to its fullest,” Our Little Secret actress Lindsay Lohan said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. Lindsay, 38, is now a mom to baby Luai and wife to financier Bader Shammas. 

The American actress and singer-songwriter一who’s famous for movies like The Parent Trap, Freaky Friday, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, and Mean Girls一moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2014 and has led a relatively low-key life. 

“It just really happened, how I moved to Dubai. I got there, and I felt a certain sense of calm,” she previously told Vogue US.

Though based in Dubai, where she and Bader met, Lindsay has been traveling to New York, Los Angeles, and Paris for work. 

In an interview back in 2017, she said that while she loved living in New York, “the serenity and peace” of living in the Middle East also drew her in. “There are no cameras in Dubai, and I can actually focus on what I want to do in life,” she shared. “I don't always have to be scrutinized every second. I can have a private life and have a public life, but when I choose to. I think that's really important.”

Today, however, the spotlight is back on Lindsay, as she’s been recently making headlines for her stunning, ageless appearance. She’s been busy, too, with promoting her latest Netflix movie, Our Little Secret; released last November 27, the rom-com flick currently takes the fourth spot on Netflix Philippines’ list of Top 10 Movies.

In her Flaunt magazine cover feature, Lindsay generously shared more information about what her life is like in Dubai.

“It’s still a city. So it’s pretty similar [to L.A.]. I mean, I do anything that anyone else does in their daily life. I’m up with my son in the mornings, I do breakfast with him, go to my pilates, come home for lunch, and go to the park, the same things that any normal mom would do in their daily life. Or you would do in L.A,” Lindsay said. “I think the only difference is the time zone shift. There’s a big disconnect between when work starts for me and other places. I can do my work calls with New York at like three or four, around this time, and then L.A. picks up later.”

In that same interview, she further talked about their Christmas plans for the year, sharing that they’ll be stateside this holiday season. “No matter where we are, we always do a Christmas tree. And now that we have our son, we’re going to do Santa, we’ll do decorating together. All that fun stuff. Last year we did it, but he was very small. This year, he’s getting bigger, so the holidays are getting more exciting, because we get to share it with our little one. It just makes it all the better and all the more special,” Lindsay said.

Lindsay also finished filming for Freakier Friday, the sequel to 2003’s Freaky Friday that’ll mark her much-awaited big-screen reunion with her onscreen mom, Jamie Lee Curtis. Their movie is set to be released in August 2025.
