Lindsay Lohan has recently gained attention for her incredible transformation. The 38-year-old American actress and singer-songwriter, who debuted in a lead role in the iconic 1998 film The Parent Trap, is aging backward! 

People are curious about what she did to bounce back from her controversial past and re-emerge in the entertainment scene with this major glow-up. Many are abuzz about her skincare routine and the cosmetic surgeries she could have gotten in an attempt to explain the Mean Girls star’s transformed look. 

Her beauty secrets aside, it’s also noticeable that Lindsay glows from within. And we think her husband, Bader Shammas, is part of the reasons why.

In an Instagram post last June 17, Lindsay posted a birthday message for him on social media, captioning, “You are the most amazing man, father, husband, son and brother.” 

Lindsay and Bader reportedly dated for three years before announcing their engagement in November 2021. The two tied the knot on April 3, 2022. A few months after their wedding, she professed her love for him on Instagram, posting a photo with him, with the caption: “I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything.” The following year, in July 2023, Lindsay gave birth to their son, Luai (an Arabic name for "shield" or "protector"), in Dubai, where the couple first met at a restaurant for a dinner date with mutual friends; Lindsay has been based in the United Arab Emirates since 2014. 

On meeting Bader's family for the first time, Lindsay told Entertainment Tonight, "I was so nervous. Oh my god. But it was just like they were the most welcoming."

Here’s everything we know about Lindsay Lohan’s husband, Bader Shammas:

1. He’s Kuwaiti and works as a financier. He’s the assistant vice president at Credit Suisse, a financial services company.

2. He took up mechanical engineering at the University of South Florida. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at the John H. Sykes College of Business.

3. He first appeared on Lindsay’s social media feed in February 2020, sparking dating rumors when she posted a group photo with Bader beside him at a music festival in Dubai. She captioned it with: “@aliana lovely night with sister and my boyfriend bader❤️”

4. Lindsay described him as “amazing” and “very calm” in an October 2022 interview with Cosmopolitan. The Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen actress also mentioned him once in her podcast, saying, “‘He is one of the wisest people I know and gives the most sound advice.’”

5. Lindsay worked with Bader for her 2024 fantasy rom-com Netflix film Irish Wish. He served as an executive producer for the film.

6. Bader has an Instagram account (@bader.shammas), which Lindsay often tags in her posts, but it's set in private.

Lindsay's Netflix rom-com film, Our Little Secret, was released last November 27. What to look forward to from her next is the fantasy comedy film Freakier Friday, the sequel to a sequel to 2003's Freaky Friday; the movie, which also stars Jamie Lee Curtis, is set to be released in August 2025.
