Legaspi’s launch drew attention for situating Southeast Asian perspectives within a global narrative landscape often dominated by Western storytelling models.“Cultural Intelligence allows storytellers to be rooted in their identity while being resonant across boundaries,” said Legaspi. “This book is both a framework and an invitation for creators to see their stories as bridges between cultures rather than translations for one.”The book introduces the CIS Bamboo Framework, which reimagines the process of storytelling through four organic stages -- StoryRoot, StoryCraft, StoryPulse, and StoryLeaf -- inspired by the resilience and adaptability of bamboo.Legaspi’s work has been described as a milestone for Southeast Asian creators seeking cultural authenticity and global reach. It draws from his three-decade career in diaspora media and his current research as a PhD candidate at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. &quot;Culturally Intelligent Storytelling for Southeast Asian Creators&quot; is now available globally on Amazon, Apple Books, Google Play Books, and Barnes &amp; Noble. The book is published by BrightGlobe Books and distributed by Simplicitive Ventures, Inc.
