MANILA — The public may avail of free mpox tests in government hospitals, the Department of Health said on Wednesday.

“I’ve asked PhilHealth to actually create already a benefit package for mpox testing because we will run out of the test kits pretty soon,” Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa said during budget deliberations in the House of Representatives.
