Handout </div>Miss Universe Baguio 2025 Gwendoline Meliz Soriano has opened up about her struggle with alopecia areata, shedding light on the emotional toll of sudden hair loss and the stigma that often keeps women silent about it.Soriano shared her story during a roundtable discussion hosted by Trinoxteride last Friday at The Vault in Bonifacio Global City, where 13 medical professionals and industry experts gathered to address the often-overlooked issue of women’s hair loss. The event aimed to normalize conversations around the condition and introduce science-backed, preventive solutions through the new Trinoxteride Hair Loss Preventive System.Developing alopecia areata during her pageant journey, Soriano shed light on the emotional toll of sudden hair loss and the importance of early diagnosis, accessible treatment, and open dialogue — especially for women who often bear the weight of beauty standards.Her story underscored the need to view hair loss as a health concern rather than a source of shame.While men&#x27;s conversations about hair loss have gotten more open in recent years, many Filipina women are still unwilling to address early indications of thinning, shedding, or alopecia. This silence frequently delays therapy, exacerbating the mental and physical effects. Natcher said the company aims to make preventive hair care more science-driven and accessible in the Philippines.A panel of dermatologists and medical doctors reviewed available research on Redensyl during the event.
