This recent foray comes on the heels of Ramsay’s growing admiration for Filipino food, which he openly expressed yesterday during an event at Newport Resorts World. When asked what was the best dish he's tasted recently, he replied it had to be the Sisig Tacos from Serai, a restaurant in Melbourne run by Filipino chef Ross Magnate.

“There’s a young kid in Melbourne, he's blowing up on the internet and he's a Filipino chef and all the rest is from his grandma, and the rest (restaurant) is called Serai,” Gordon shared.

Ramsay is in Manila on the heels of the opening of Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill in Newport, his first restaurant in the country. He promises to open more restaurants soon, including Hell's Kitchen.
