Dessert 39 is being introduced locally by The Bistro Group, which is expanding its portfolio of international food brands.Founded in 2015 in Gyeongridan-gil, Itaewon, Dessert 39 has grown to more than 700 stores across South Korea. The chain is known for its croissant-based pastries, roll cakes, and iced coffee drinks, as well as its sustainability initiatives, including the rollout of reusable tumblers in 2020.<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1764579641508composites4 1.jpg" style="width:960px;height:auto" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/>Handout</div>Among the items expected on the Manila menu are the Croissant Choux, Premium Tokyo Roll Cake and other pastries typically paired with brewed coffee. The brand also offers ready-to-heat rice bowls, pastas and sandwiches.Dessert 39’s drink lineup features its popular Einspänner — an iced Americano topped with whipped cream and brown sugar — and the Brown Sugar Pong Latte, made with sweetened milk and Jolly Pong cereal. It also carries a “Slim” collection of zero-calorie beverages, such as Zero Lemon Black Tea and Slim Real Chocolate, made with allulose, a natural sugar substitute.The company has not yet announced the exact opening date. Updates will be posted on the brand’s Philippine social media accounts.
