As always, London is a city that blends the experimental with the classic, making it a fashion capital with a landscape of budding creativity and innovation. In the past week, we witnessed the collections of rising names—from Harris Reed to Dilara Findikoğlu—and heritage brands—namely, Burberry—who presented their takes on fashion for the F/W ‘25 calendar. Though this season saw the absence of many of the UK’s homegrown brands (such as J.W. Anderson who will be presenting his collection in Paris instead), LFW still had some standout shows defining the season.

Harris Reed

London Fashion Week began with some drama as Harris Reed’s show was opened with a Shakespearean monologue delivered by actress Florence Pugh herself. The designer presented “Gilded”, a collection of sculptural pieces that made punk style elegant and sophisticated with a palette of deep blacks and opulent golds.

Simone Rocha
Simone Rocha brings us back to our school days at her F/W ‘25 show. With references to Aesop’s “Tortoise and the Hare”, the designer’s subversive feminine style is amplified with all things fluff, fur, and frills—including the stuffed bunnies carried across the runway. A blend of restraint and ease, Rocha’s collection combines her signature girly taste (of ribbons, shades of blush, and florals) with the tough edge of chains, leather jackets, and buckles. Korean actress Minha Kim of “Pachinko” walked the runway alongside British ‘It-girl’ Alexa Chung.

Dilara Findikoğlu

London has fallen under the spell of Dilara Findikoğlu. A tale of “Venus from Chaos”, the designer’s latest collection narrates the ever-personal journey of navigating the chaos one undergoes towards beauty and love. Taking her gothic, punky taste, Findikoğlu amplifies her dark feminine style as she re-tells the story of the birth of Venus through her details—with hair, pins, shells, and tattoos.

Erdem

At Erdem, fashion is the canvas. Designer Erdem Moralıoğlu collaborates with artist Kaye Donachie, exploring the escape towards imagination, resulting in a runway that is artful in an impressionist sense, yet modern. Offering everything from prints, textures, and colors, the designer once again finds a way to amplify the wardrobe of the elegant woman.

Burberry

London Fashion Week isn’t complete without Burberry. Like a closet for the English winter, the runway was filled with all things knits, layers, and drapes perfect for a weekend escape to the great outdoors. Designer Daniel Lee gave us a taste of the countryside, presenting a collection rooted in Burberry’s heritage of keeping it classic without ever compromising practicality. Joining a front row of England’s A-list were Asian stars Bright Vachirawit and SEVENTEEN's Wonwoo.
