This New Artist-Themed KTV in San Juan Lets You Rock Out In Style

It’s one of our favorite pastimes and hobbies, and what better way to enjoy this than a karaoke session? Rockstar KTV recently opened its third branch in Greenhills Mall, and the upscale establishment redefines the karaoke experience with its artist-themed rooms, content-worthy ambiance, and premium amenities, with an inviting club vibe that ties music, socializing, and fun. Owned by celebrities Anne Curtis, Karylle, and the band, Spongecola, this popular entertainment hub is not just about belting out your favorite tunes—it’s about experiencing an elevated nightlife in the privacy of your own bougie suite.

To celebrate my 34th, I wanted to sing my heart out with my loved ones. It was also my first time trying out Rockstar KTV! Stepping into their establishment feels like entering an exclusive club. The dark walls, neon lights, and labyrinth of rooms and suites surely set the party mood. The uniqueness of it is the artist-themed rooms with interiors that are tastefully designed with polished furnishings, mood lighting, and comfy couches, setting the perfect stage for an unforgettable night. 

They have quite a range, too—from intimate rooms for cozy gatherings to grand VIP lounges for extravagant celebrations. Their standard rooms are good for 2-4 pax with themes like Usher, Justine Beiber and Maroon 5; their superior rooms are good for 8-10 pax with themes like Lady Gaga and Prince; and their deluxe rooms are good for 10-15 pax with themes like Blackpink, Coldplay,, Dua Lipa, and JLo to name a few. For grander events, the Sponge Cola premier suite can host up to 35 pax, while the Beyoncé VIP suite can accommodate up to 100, complete with a stage and bar set up.

Whether you’re channeling your inner diva with a power ballad or getting the party started with a trending pop anthem, Rockstar KTV makes any amateur sound like a pro. Plus, with user-friendly, phone-accessible digital controls, curating our perfect playlist has never been easier. We just scanned the QR code on the screen with our smartphones and we instantly had control from volume to voice pitch, and queuing our songs was a breeze!

A night out isn’t complete without yummy bites and drinks. Rockstar KTV has a well-curated menu featuring an international selection that complements the night’s revelries. From rocking appetizers to big barkada platters, the menu provides a wide array of FIlipino, Western, and Asian cuisines. I personally liked their Chainsmokers Cheese Sticks, Legendary Lechon Kawali Chips, King of Pop Chicken Lollipop, and Street Food Battle Platter (skewered chorizo, chicken isaw, kwek-kwek, and fish balls). As for the drinks, the selection seems endless. From beers to soju bombs to cocktails (with glass, pitcher, and tower options), there’s a libation for everyone.
