Ahead of Christmas on December 25, residents and visitors in the Japanese capital have been enjoying the festive cheer by visiting art installations and dazzling illuminations in downtown Tokyo. Japan does not have religious ties to Christmas, but Tokyo celebrates the annual festival by putting up sparkling lights on trees and displaying numerous light shows. This year&#x27;s lineup featured Nintendo&#x27;s popular game, &quot;Super Mario Bros.&quot;, which included a 13-metre tall installation and Mario characters, drawing crowds every night.
