“If you like me blink twice, are you naughty or nice?” With these catchy lyrics, BINI once again captured our hearts. Just in time for Valentine's Day, the Nation's Girl Group released a comeback song called "Blink Twice," matching the romantic vibes of the season.

Here, our favorite girls exuded a fresh feminine aura that harmonized aptly with the optimistic melody of the song, constantly keeping us hooked by their talent and visuals. It truly was another serve.

Lucky for us at METRO, Stylist and Visual Director of BINI, Ica Villanueva shared the beauty direction the girls are rocking for this new era–a girly cute concept at first, followed by a bold and fierce look later on, all without overlooking the beauty elements within the frame.

"The beauty direction is cute and fresh and transitions to super Latina. We wanted to contrast the looks so the first was pastel, barely-there, matte makeup then we went for sultry that was still age-appropriate. Part of the mood board for the second look was burgundy tones. We wanted to highlight their beauty." Ica explained.

After their multiple sold-out concert shows, our Nation’s Girl group cemented their position as Gen Z musicians with massive influence and contribution to the OPM industry. And above their record-breaking achievements and chart-topping hits, there’s one thing that never fails to sweep us off our feet–none other than their visuals. Theirs are face cards that never, ever decline. On every song release, their hair and makeup looks are top notch. And occasionally, they innovatively curate their beauty styling, generating new beauty trends or TikTok stitches.

MIKHA

Sporting her signature bright red hair, Mikha had an abundance of blush, brushed-up brows, hazel contacts, and rosy, juicy lips on her first look. Afterward, we blinked twice and checked if her Latina counterpart was the soft-chic Mikha we knew–and yes, it was her! She looked beautifully different as a brunette! With her eyes in complementing shades of lilac and shimmer, her lashes were with thick mascara and lined the tip of her eyelid for a fiercer look. All beauty elements were harmoniously balanced with her visuals!

JHOANNA

Jhoanna stuns in her long silky hair with light blush on her cheeks. Her fresh and cute makeup mainly focused on a simple dab of warm eyeshadow and subtle light pink on her lips. While for her bold-dramatic makeup, she swapped all the little tints to a smokey eyeshadow and nude lipstick. Her makeup artist, Mark Kingson Qua, carefully placed faux freckles on the bridge of her nose and extended it up to her cheeks, synchronizing along her contour that created a more flawless effect.

AIAH

All we can say is that Aiah’s face always stuns! At first, she had a wavy high-ponytail with split bangs, making her visuals sweet and divine. Her makeup was only in sheer pigments of blush, natural lashes, and light eyebrows. In her Latina counterpart's look, Aiah’s makeup was impeccable! Her eyeshadow was filled with magenta pigments with shimmers that added flair to her eyes. The foundation, contour, and concealer were blended meticulously, highlighting her radiant complexion in close-up shots.

MALOI

Maloi styled her hair in a side-swept ponytail with a coquette touch, emulating a radiant glow. Her fresh makeup featured mainly pastel pink tones, with light eyeshadow, subtle blush, and soft lips. For her statement look, she tousled her hair and paired it with curtain bangs that elegantly framed her face. Below, her lids shimmered with peachy hues, complemented by a similar shade on her cheeks, enhancing her facial structure evenly.

COLET

During the introduction of the MV, Colet rocked side-parted hair with hazel contact lenses and a flawless base that emphasized her porcelain skin. While in her Latina look, she traded all the simple hues for intense pigments from her eyes down to her lips. Makeup artist Theresa Padin shared Colet’s glam, focusing on her burgundy wine eyes, long wispy lashes, and natural brushed-up brows. Her look was topped off with a brownish-red lip shade!

GWEN

Softly alluring, Gwen nailed her signature short bob wrapped with a Louis Vuitton scarf headband. Her perfect base made her skin glow, highlighting her well-prepped skin before applying any liquid foundation. Her fierce Latina persona transported us to a baddie look of Gwen, where she slays the smokey eyeshadow and dense lashes. STACEY

Stacey made a simple beauty more endearing! In the fresh-girl concept, she had her hair in soft waves, tailoring it with her delicate makeup—long coated mascara lashes, pin-up eyeliner,  topped off with a warm-orange pastel shade of eyeshadow. During the latter part of the MV, Stacey's hair was straightened which complemented her fuschia pink ensemble. Similar hues of pink were seen around her eyes. Her lips had a rosy shade on, mixed with some shine for a satin finish.

Sheena enchanted us with her beauty throughout the MV. Her hair was styled in a high half-ponytail, complemented with soft peachy monochromatic tints on her skin. For her dramatic look, she veered away from long hair and slayed a short bob, trimmed just below her jawline. She also had her brows slightly pigmented and brushed upwards. Her eyeshadow featured warm brown tones, while her cheeks were dusted with a peachy hue. The cherry red lipstick completed her look quite well, we must say!
