Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) is set to expand its hospitality footprint in Northern Luzon with the launch of Grand Summit Pangasinan, the first Luzon-based property under its upscale Grand Summit brand.

Scheduled to break ground on Monday, July 7, the seven-story hotel will rise within the Robinsons Pangasinan Mall complex along the Dagupan–Urdaneta Road in Calasiao. The 100-room property is expected to open by 2027 and will be the only branded hotel in the province, offering full-service amenities for both leisure and business travelers.

Designed to reflect the region’s cultural heritage and economic vitality, Grand Summit Pangasinan will feature 93 standard rooms, four junior suites, and three executive suites ranging from 38 to 116 square meters. Hotel amenities will include an all-day dining restaurant, lobby lounge, pool bar and outdoor dining area, a ballroom, meeting rooms, gym, spa, and an outdoor swimming pool.

“Northern Luzon continues to evolve as a dynamic hub for travel and commerce, and Calasiao stands out as a place where local character and regional connectivity come together,” said Barun Jolly, Senior Vice President at RLC and Business Unit General Manager of Robinsons Hotels and Resorts. “We’re proud to bring the Grand Summit experience to Northern Luzon, offering travelers a thoughtfully designed destination that reflects the vitality of the region.”

The Grand Summit brand, which debuted in General Santos, caters to both local and international travelers seeking premium accommodations with a strong sense of place.

The Pangasinan location is expected to tap into the province’s thriving tourism and commercial sectors, offering a base for guests visiting nearby destinations such as Dagupan, Lingayen, and San Carlos City.

Calasiao’s central location makes it an ideal launch point for exploring Pangasinan’s cultural and religious landmarks, including the 16th-century Saints Peter and Paul Parish Church and the Basilica of Our Lady of Manaoag. Culinary and nature attractions like the famed puto Calasiao, the beaches of Bolinao, and the Hundred Islands National Park are all within reach.

For business travelers, the hotel offers proximity to Pangasinan’s government centers and emerging commercial districts, including Dagupan City, Urdaneta, and Santa Barbara.

“Our developments across Northern and Central Luzon reflect Robinsons Land’s long-term vision of inclusive growth,” said RLC President and CEO Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio. “By seamlessly integrating our businesses across retail, residential, hospitality, offices, and logistics, we aim to foster thriving communities and contribute to broader national progress.”

The Calasiao project extends RLC’s reach across Northern and Central Luzon, where it operates retail centers, residential communities, offices, and mixed-use estates.

Located roughly 15 minutes from Dagupan City and accessible via the Tarlac–Pangasinan–La Union Expressway (TPLEX), Grand Summit Pangasinan is about 3.5 to 4 hours by car from Metro Manila.
