From commuting to and from work, braving the heat and the train, and sometimes, going onovertime, your everyday 'kayod' (hustle) may take a toll on your health. When you get sick, your savings may be at risk, and you may even risk losing income from missed workdays. In such moments, a safety net like health insurance may help protect your livelihood.

For many, getting health insurance seems out of reach. However, what if there is a way to secure that protection? Kaya pala magkaroon ng free health insurance when you buy load on GCash.

(You too can have your own free health insurance when you buy load on GCash).

When you buy a load for your mobile number – any network, anytime, anywhere – using Buy Load on GCash, you get a free Health and Accident Insurance (underwritten by FPG Insurance) for yourself, with up to P30,000 coverage and additional valuable benefits.

Here are the benefits you may get:

Accidental Death Benefit

For every load purchase, you automatically get P10,000 in accidental death coverage. This amount may be accumulated when claiming up to three separate eligible load purchases, giving you a maximum coverage of P30,000.

Hospitalization Sweldo-Assistance

If you are hospitalized due to illnesses and accidents, you may receive P500 per day salary assistance for a maximum of five days, that may replace your lost daily wage due to sickness.

Disablement Benefit

You may also get up to P10,000 disablement benefit, providing you or your beneficiaries a safety net 'pag 'di na kayang magtrabaho dahil sa aksidenteng pagkabaldado.

(When you cannot work due to an accident, causing disablement.)

Your free health and accident insurance will start on the day the load is applied and will end based on the load amount purchased:

- P1 - P65 - 3 days
- P66 - P150 - 7 days
- P151- P450 - 15 days
- P451 & up - 30 days

You may combine the accidental death benefits when you make three separate load purchases, reaching a maximum total of P30,000 per person. On the other hand, the disablement/dismemberment and hospital confinement benefits cannot be added up, each providing up to P10,000.
