MANILA— With a heartfelt message embroidered on her departure dress, Miss World Philippines 2024 Krishnah Gravidez is off to India this Tuesday morning at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.

She is set to represent the Philippines at the highly anticipated 72nd edition of the Miss World pageant on May 31.

The intricate embroidery on Gravidez’s elegant dress carried a deeply personal and symbolic message: “Pilipinas, dala ko ang pangarap, pag-asa, at pag-ibig mo. Nagmamahal, Krishnah.”

(Philippines, I carry your dreams, hope, and love. With love, Krishnah).

According to Gravidez, this handwritten message serves as a “love letter.”

“A reminder that every step of the way, every Filipino, our story as Filipinos will always be in my heart,” Gravidez said.

Expressing an unwavering confidence, the Filipina beauty queen declared, “I feel 100% ready going to India and representing the Philippines. I’ve been preparing for months — me and my team and the whole Filipino community is beside me ever since.”

When asked about what she hopes to represent during her time at Miss World, Gravidez emphasized the core values of the Filipino people. 

“Isa lang ang gusto kong ipakita sa buong mundo bilang Miss World Philippines and that is the essence of the Filipino. We are very compassionate, we are very resilient,” she said.

Gravidez also extended a heartfelt message to her supporters.

“Maraming, maraming salamat po sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa akin mga kababayan kong Pilipino,” Gravidez said.

“Ngayon nandito na tayo and we are ready to represent the Philippines,” she added.
