Asked about his preparations before tackling a particular role like Elesi in "Liwanag sa Dilim," he said, "I make sure I’m fully focused. Being 100% ready helps me give the best version of the character. I always warm up and get in the right headspace, so that whatever happens onstage, I’m ready for it. About an hour before the show started, I had already let go of Anthony. I slowly ease into Elesi and stay in that space until curtain call."

"I think I’ve become more responsible when in taking care of myself health-wise, mentally, even emotionally," Rosaldo said.

He added that he has learned to be "disciplined' in life. He also values his castmates by respecting others' time. "It's being professional at all times as much as possible," he said.

"Despite everything he goes through, he still manages to be a light for others. His presence in the story strengthens the fight for truth and justice. He reminds you why the need to fight the good fight of faith matters," he said.

To date, as a singer and a theater actor, Rosaldo keeps reminding himself to perform his best. "I have to sing from the heart. Always. That's what matters."
