MANILA — The globally popular Dave & Buster’s is coming to the Philippines, with its first branch set to open in October 2025 at the third level of Opus Mall.

A ceremonial groundbreaking was recently held to mark the start of construction of the 1,560-square-meter flagship store.

In partnership with The Bistro Group, Dave & Buster’s promises to bring its signature “eatertainment” experience — combining dining, drinks, games, and live sports all in one destination — to the new upscale mall.

“We are delighted to announce our expansion into the Philippines, marking a significant milestone in our global growth strategy to reach a broader audience,” said Antonio Bautista, chief international development officer of Dave & Buster’s. “The Bistro Group's reputation as one of the strongest restaurant operators and a trendsetter in the F&B industry in Southeast Asia and beyond makes them our ideal partner.”

The Manila branch will offer an exciting lineup of cutting-edge arcade games, including Stepmaniax Arcade De Luxe, NBA Superstar Worldwide, Godzilla VR, and the latest Fast & Furious dual monitor arcade, many of which are new to the local market.

Jean Paul Manuud, president of The Bistro Group, emphasized the brand's broad appeal. “One doesn’t have to be young nor old to enjoy a visit at the restaurant. It’s for everybody. Parents can eat -- as their kids play games, young adults can also dine, drink and enjoy the interactive games while others can simply watch sports shows by the bar. It’s a place where everyone is welcome anytime of the day,” he said.

Founded in 1982 in Texas, Dave & Buster’s currently operates over 165 locations in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. The upcoming Opus Mall branch marks its first venture into the Philippine market and Southeast Asia.
