Chelsea Manalo is slowly but surely fulfilling one dream after another. 

After representing the Philippines on the international pageant stage and being proclaimed Miss Universe Asia, the Filipina beauty had the opportunity to try hosting for the first time.

She joined Erika Kristensen-Lee as a host of the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) 2025 preliminary competition, which was held on Monday, April 28, at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. 

"Still feeling the magic from last night's preliminary event," Manalo said in an Instagram post.

She added: "Bucket list checked on my first time ever hosting!"

Manalo is set to crown her successor in the MUPH 2025 coronation night on May 2, Friday, at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Her Miss Universe batchmates--reigning titleholder Victoria Theilvig and her fellow continental queens--will grace the event as special guests.

"With just a few days before coronation night, my heart is full of excitement and gratitude," Manalo said. 

"No matter who takes the crown, every star has already made her mark."

Earlier this year, Manalo got to experience how it feels to be a recording artist. It was a milestone for the beauty queen, who dreamed of becoming a pop star when she was a child.

As Miss Universe Asia, she also got to immerse herself in Thai culture this April, joining the Songkran festivities for the first time.
