“Times may change, but we always remain in the service of the Filipino—wherever, whenever, however. They say, ‘The only constant thing in this world is change,’ but not all change is for the best; it can also be for the worst. That is why our advocacy for truth and accountability must not only continue—it is imperative. Only a self-aware world that keeps itself truthful and accountable will be able to develop sustainably. Otherwise, it will become a house of cards that collapses and is lost," Cruz said.

The summit highlighted the UN’s 2025 proclamations—the International Year of Cooperatives and the International Year of Peace and Trust—emphasizing collaboration, community-driven initiatives, and collective efforts in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
