MANILA -- Singaporean brand Love, Bonito is finally opening the doors of its first Philippine store to the public this August.

Spanning over 2,000 square feet, the new branch is located at Greenbelt 3 mall in Makati. It will start welcoming customers on Sunday, August 4.

Love, Bonito chief executive officer Dione Song said they are happy to "finally put our roots down" in the Philippines, citing the country's mall culture and huge support for their brand. 

"We have receiving overwhelming support from the Filipina community, where we experienced 90% year-on-year growth in 2023 solely through online orders," she said. 

"Through customer data from our e-commerce website and various pop-ups around Manila, we're finally hard launching our first brick-and-mortar store, with unique elements that cater to the Filipina customer," Song added.

Love, Bonito's first physical store in the Philippines was launched in July, with the event attended by style influencers, members of the media, and special guests.

The new branch carries the brand's three key lines: Signatures, Staples, and the summer-appropriate summer collection. 

"After five years of shipping to the Philippines, we're thrilled to announce the opening of our very first permanent store here," said Love, Bonito co-founder Rachel Lim. "Throughout these years, we've cherished every connection made through events and collaborations, feeling deeply inspired by the warmth and support of the community." 

Customers can expect exclusive promos at the Philippine Love, Bonito store from August 10 to 11, such as discount vouchers, tote bags, and free coffee. 

To date, Love, Bonito has over 20 stores in Southeast Asia.
