Heart Evangelista continues to use her creativity for good as she donated all of the proceeds from the sale of one of her hand-painted designer bags. 

The actress, artist, and style icon was able to sell an Hermes bag from her personal collection which she painted herself for a whopping P1.5 million. 

But instead of keeping her earnings from the sale, she opted to turn it over to the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc. (SSFI), where she currently serves as president.

"I consider it important to personally contribute to the cause of the foundation. But I emphasize that the work of the SSFI is a collective endeavor," Evangelista said.

Evangelista, wife of Senate President Francis Escudero, took her oath as president of SSFI last June.

The group, composed of partners of members of the Upper Chamber of Congress, has been busy helping those affected by the recent typhoon Carina.
