Celebrity couple Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres are proud parents as their only child finished college with flying colors. 

Juliana graduated cum laude from the University of the Philippines (UP), with a degree in Public Administration.

"Isang karangalan ang maging iskolar-atleta ng bayan," the fencing royalty said in an Instagram post. "Maraming salamat sa pagkakataon na ito, UP! Mahal na mahal kita."

Replying to her daughter's post, Torres said: "The sight of you last night, all grown up and graduating from UP, made me all weepy. I love you and am endlessly and wonderfully proud of you, my little love."

"You have worked so hard, but also quietly. As you always do. Shine on. The best is yet to come," she added.

Gomez, for his part, shared an Instagram reel that included highlights from Juliana's graduation ceremony as he recalled his daughter's journey as a student.

"I vividly remember your first day in school as a young child. I drove you to your school near the house, you were in a white shirt and jeans and rubber shoes. Look at you now, all grown up and a college graduate in Public Administration at the UP Diliman, and a cum laude," Gomez said. 

"Congratulations, 'day! Mom and I are so proud of you," he added. "Mom was in tears going up the stage. My eyes were in tears, too, when I went back to my seat as things sank into my head and realized how time flies so fast."
