MANILA -- Actress and businesswoman KC Concepcion took to social media on Tuesday to announce that the Instagram account of her jewelry brand Avec Moi has been compromised.

In her post, she advised her followers and clients to not communicate with the said account.

"We regret to inform you that our Instagram account (@avecmoijewelry) has been compromised yesterday. We are working diligently to resolve the issue and regain access," Concepcion wrote.

"Please DO NOT entertain any messages, posts or requests from our account until further notice. Your safety and privacy are out top priority and we appreciate your understanding," she added.

As of now, there are no reports about the activities of the account.

This happened amid the rise of suspicious messages from users pretending to be celebrities or prominent personalities, asking for donations for victims of Super Typhoon Carina.
