A Filipina-Scottish beauty queen is setting her sights on the Miss Universe Great Britain 2024 crown.

Christina Chalk is one of the candidates of the said national pageant, which will be held in Newport, South Wales on July 6.

"Christina is a 30-year-old global citizen from Dunblane, Scotland, with a knack for seizing opportunities. Growing up in a vibrant Scottish-Filipino household, her family nurtured her passions for dancing and singing while instilling in her a curiosity for diverse cultures," read her profile on Miss Universe Great Britain's Instagram page.

"On her most recent trip to the Philippines, she had the great opportunity to collaborate with the Department of Migrant Workers, highlighting the contributions of Filipinos in the UK and around the world."

Many Filipino pageant fans know Chalk as United Kingdom's representative in the recently concluded Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) coronation night.

She finished in the Top 20 of the competition, which was won by Chelsea Manalo of Bulacan.

Chalk's MUPH batchmates showed their support as she continues her pageant journey in the UK, leaving comments on her Miss Universe Great Britain profile.

"Rooting for you!" said Miss Cosmo Philippines 2024 Ahtisa Manalo.

"You got this," added Miss Supranational Philippines 2025 Tarah Valencia.
