Natsume Inc. announced their brand new "Harvest Moon" game called "Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home."  The classic farming simulation "Harvest Moon" will have a new mobile installment this year.

This after game developer and publisher, Natsume Inc., revealed Wednesday that “Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home” is coming to Android and iOS devices in August.

“We are excited to bring a fresh new Harvest Moon experience back to mobile gamers with Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home,” said Hiro Maekawa, president and CEO of Natsume. “Featuring the traditional Harvest Moon style that fans know and love, along with some familiar faces, we hope this will be a cozy farming adventure favorite for all mobile gamers. We look forward to welcoming you home this summer!”

The brand new "Harvest Moon" game is said to revolve around a character who went back to his hometown, Alba, to revitalize an old farm after living in the city for 10 years.

"The town of Alba has seen better days, and not all its residents are happy to see a city slicker like you back! Can you convince even the negative naysayers that you truly have the village's best interests at heart? And can you revitalize Alba?" Natsume said in an announcement.

Meanwhile, the game's most recent installment, "Harvest Moon: The Wind of Anthos," was released in September 2023 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the most popular farming game, "Harvest Moon."
