R'Bonney Gabriel is giving away her newest creation to a lucky Instagram follower.

The former Miss Universe, who is also a designer known for promoting sustainable fashion, recently made a dress out of Sultan Kudarat's inaul fabric. 

She has been in the Philippines for a while, combining work and play while returning to her roots. 

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Gabriel announced a social media contest, saying she will select the winner by the end of the week.

"This morning, I woke up and decided I wanted to run a contest giving away my first Philippine design I handmade," she said, giving instructions to her social media followers. 

Gabriel rose to fame after becoming the first Filipino-American to win the Miss Universe crown. She represented the United States during her pageant stint back in 2022.
