Millions of Filipino Catholics embark on a spiritual journey this Holy Week through fasting and prayers as a form of penitence. As part of this tradition, Catholic devotees participate in Visita Iglesia, also known as the "Seven Churches Visitation," to commemorate the Passion and life of Christ.

Here's a list of famous churches in Bulacan, known for both their religious and historical significance, which are go-to destinations for Catholic devotees during Holy Week.
Devotees are advised to bring with them extra patience as heavy traffic is expected near religious sites as the Holy Week draws near.

These Bulacan churches will be open for Visita Iglesia from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., except on Maundy Thursday when schedule starts after the Mass of the Last Supper from 7:30 p.m. until midnight. Walk-in devotees or small groups will be allowed, while those coming in bulk from other provinces will need to have a schedule from their respective parish offices.
