MANILA — The KoolPals! will be holding a block party on May 11, 3 p.m. at the 123 Block in Mandaluyong City.

Dubbed "The KoolPals Block Party: a Stand-Up Comedy + Music Special," the line up includes Kween Yasmin, Eloisa, Lion and the Scouts, Tanya Markova, Dilaw, and Johnoy Danao.

“This year, pagsasamahin natin sa isang stage ang stand-up comedy at lahat ng paboritong guests at banda ng mga KoolPals para i-celebrate ang limang taon na tawanan at pagsasamahan (This year, we’re gathering some of your favorite folks in stand-up comedy, as well as guests and bands who have been with us through five years of laughter and camaraderie),” said GB Labrador, one of the pioneering members of The KoolPals.

“Kung sa tingin niyo malupit ang fourth anniversary sa Solaire, tama kayo. Pero mas malupit itong fifth anniversary (If you think our fourth anniversary at Solaire was the bomb, you are absolutely right! But our fifth anniversary is definitely bigger, bolder, and better),” James Caraan, another founding member of the group, added.

The KoolPals! are Filipino stand-up comedians who are "taking the country’s comedy scene by storm" on Spotify.
