MANILA -- The Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) organization has introduced its newest batch of candidates, with 55 ladies vying for the chance to represent the country on the international stage.

This year's roster includes not just fresh faces but also familiar names such as Miss International 2018 first runner-up Ahtisa Manalo, Miss Intercontinental 2015 first runner-up Christi McGarry, MUPH Charity 2021 Victoria Velasquez Vincent, Miss Intercontinental 2014 second runner-up Kris Janson, and Binibining Pilipinas 2022 second runner-up Stacey Gabriel.

The winner of this year's pageant will succeed Michelle Dee, who finished in the Top 10 of last year's Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador, on top of winning special awards.
