Posters from the Korean Cultural Center in the PhilippinesFilipinos can dive into the vibrant cultures of both the Philippines and South Korea this November through a series of cultural events celebrating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

On November 15, the "Harmony at 75: A Celebration of Philippine-Korean Friendship Through Music" concert will take place at the Leandro Locsin Auditorium, NCCA Building in Intramuros, Manila, the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) in the Philippines said in a press release.

Meanwhile, a special exhibit highlighting "maedeup," the traditional Korean knot art, will open on November 22 at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, and will run until January 29, 2025.

"The exhibit showcases intricate handmade knots that have adorned Korean clothing, accessories, furniture, and ceremonial objects for centuries," the KCC said.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in a "Traditional Korean Knot Bracelet Making" workshop, held in the exhibit area on November 22 and 23.

On November 23, the Philippines-Korea Cultural Exchange Festival will be held at the Aliw Theater in Pasay, "bringing together vibrant performances and cultural contests," the KCC said.

The annual event will start with a parade, followed by performances at the Aliw Theater from various invited groups, including S.D.G. (Show Design Group), renowned for their Media TRON Performance, which incorporates LED technology to deliver a stunning visual experience.
