Alex Priscu, the castle manager, noted that there had been a significant demand for a Halloween event at the castle as early as 2009.

"The event is increasing phenomenally and thousands and thousands and dozens of thousands of tourists from all over the world are visiting the castle every Halloween weekend to get the whole experience that we provide them," Priscu said.
