Early favorite Miss Universe Puerto Rico Jennifer Colón shared her ambitions to win the next Miss Universe crown.

With the removal of an age limit being among the many changes that were adapted in this edition, Colón knew she would be able to shine for this year.

The former Miss World Puerto Rico (2009) is among the list of the top oldest women competing in this year's Miss Universe, with Beatrice Njoya of Malta being the oldest at 40 years old.

When asked about the responsibilities entailed to being the next Miss Universe winner, Colón highlighted her personal background as a mom.

"I'm a mother of three and 36-years old," she said. "I would love to do that because we're sending a message that we can do absolutely anything."

The ages of her children are 13, 12 and 2.

When asked if she will be tagging her kids along to watch the pageant and travel with her if she wins, Colón said they will not.

"No, because this is a job," she said with a smile. "They will be taken care of because this is a job."

With 127 countries competing, the journey will not be easy, but ready or not the universe will have its new queen on Nov. 17 Manila time.
