The former Miss World Puerto Rico (2009) is among the list of the top oldest women competing in this year's Miss Universe, with Beatrice Njoya of Malta being the oldest at 40 years old.

When asked about the responsibilities entailed to being the next Miss Universe winner, Colón highlighted her personal background as a mom.

"I'm a mother of three and 36-years old," she said. "I would love to do that because we're sending a message that we can do absolutely anything."
