Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco is filled with gratitude after being given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help pick the next Miss Universe titleholder. 

Cinco, one of the Philippines' most celebrated fashion designers, is part of the selection committee of the 73rd Miss Universe.

He will join digital entertainment star Lele Pons, producer Emilio Estefan, Miss Universe 1978 Margaret Gardiner, entrepreneur Gianluca Vacchi, host Jessica Carrillo, designer Eva Cavalli, and artist Romero Britto on the judging panel in this year's coronation night in Mexico on November 16 (November 17 in the Philippines).

"Thank you, Miss Universe. Thank you, Lord," said the couture designer to the stars on Instagram Stories, where he reposted Miss Universe's latest announcement.

"My Miss Universe journey began by dressing the extraordinary women who wore the crown -- each one embodying beauty, strength, and purpose," he added. "Today, I'm honored to take on a new role in this journey, helping to select the next inspiring queen."

Cinco has dressed up Miss Universe titleholders Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines, Iris Mittenaere of France, Demi Leigh Tebow of South Africa, and Andrea Meza of Mexico, as well as countless other candidates in the international competition.

He has also been tapped to create gowns for celebrities in the Philippines and abroad, such as music superstars Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez.
