At the launch event on October 24, SM Supermall offered an exclusive preview of SM J Mall's premium offerings to a select group of guests. Held at the Mall Atrium, the event featured notable attendees including Hans Sy, Chairman of the Executive Committee of SM Prime Holdings, Inc., Herbert Sy, Chairman of Super Shopping Market Inc., SM Supermalls President Steven Tan, Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia, Mandaue City Mayor Glenn Bercede, Provincial Board Member Glenn Soco, and businessman Justin Uy.

The launch began with a blessing ceremony, followed by a Taiko drum performance. Guests participated in a champagne toast as cherry blossom petals descended. After the formal program, Tan led tenant ribbon cuttings, and key guests were given guided tours of the mall's features.

The excitement continued at the Izakaya Terrace, SM J Mall's venue for authentic Japanese cuisine and drinks, where guests enjoyed delicious food and cocktails while dancing to live DJ music at an exclusive after-party.

On Friday, October 25, SM J Mall officially opened its doors to the public with a special ceremony attended by SM representatives, affiliates, and local government officials, symbolically welcoming everyone to this newest lifestyle destination mall.
