DISCOVERY RESORTS

Join an exciting array of events at Discovery Boracay starting on October 31 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m at the Sandbar with a Sunset Session, where you can enjoy Boracay Island’s famous sunset with chill beats.

On November 1, families and guests of all ages can enjoy the Halloween Trick or Treat from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome to join for just P800, with sweet treats and fun activities await.

Continue the excitement with DJ Davide’s Sunset Session at Sandbar from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., then end the evening with a flavorful Pinoy BBQ Buffet priced at P1499 per person at Sands.

Keep the party going on November 2 with DJ Justine V for a Sunset Session from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by an Italian BBQ at the Courtyard priced at P1499 per person at from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for P1,499.

Dive into frightful fun at Discovery Coron’s Horror Hour Discovery Coron (DC) has a fun Halloween lineup with Trick or Treat activities, a Sunset DJ Party, and discounted spa treatments for some extra relaxation.

On November 1, guests can enjoy a Halloween-themed adventure at the Kids Treehouse, while others can relax at the Sunset DJ Party at Dugong Bar Deck with drinks and music. For a more tranquil experience, unwind with 20% off treatments at Glow Spa.

On November 2, guests can enjoy a Halloween Buffet at the poolside with a live band for just P2,200, featuring a delicious American-inspired spread to cap off their Halloween adventure.

AYALA MALLS CINEMAS

For only P150, watch horror hits “The Lost Boys,” “Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride” and “Trick ’r Treat” on the big screen.

As a special Halloween treat, Ayala Malls Cinemas is bringing back old Hollywood favorites to the big screen as part of their annual “Thrill Fest.” 

From October 30 to November 5, moviegoers can enchant themselves with a spine-chilling week of horror movie thrills during which “The Lost Boys” and “Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride” will be back in cinemas for a limited run only. 

Another Halloween hit for horror enthusiasts, “Trick ’r Treat” – which was not shown theatrically in the Philippines when it was released in 2009 – will be available in cinemas as well. 

Fans of the genre (and of movies in general) can finally watch the cult favorite anthology horror film, from Bryan Singer and Michael Dougherty, on the big screen exclusively in Ayala Malls Cinemas during Thrill Fest.

As an added treat for the season, moviegoers can enjoy each film – “The Lost Boys,” “Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride,” “Trick ’r Treat” – for the very affordable ticket price of P150 only per movie.  

And for everyone’s convenience, “Thrill Fest” will be featured across all 23 sites of Ayala Malls Cinemas: Glorietta 4, Greenbelt 3, Alabang Town Center, Ayala Center Cebu, Market! Market!, TriNoma, MarQuee, Abreeza, Harbor Point, Centrio, Fairview Terraces, Bonifacio High Street, Solenad, Ayala Malls Legazpi, U.P. Town Center, The 30th, Vertis North, Clover Leaf, Feliz, Circuit, Capitol Central Bacolod, Manila Bay and Central Bloc.

Cinema patrons who will present their Thrill Fest tickets at the Movie Snackbar will get 10% off if they order popcorn. Guests can treat themselves to the Movie Snackbar’s popular flavored popcorn – Blazing Cheddar, Texan Barbecue, Real Butter, Sour Cream & Chives and Spooky Black Cheddar – a new variant made especially for Halloween.

There are other fun activities besides watching horror favorites on the big screen. Those who come in costume can pick random prizes, and kids who bring pumpkin baskets will be given candies.  

TGIFRIDAYS

Drop by TGIFriday’s during the Halloween season to try the Devil’s Margarita and Mud Shake (Oreo Milkshake).

Treat yourself to a delectable Mud Shake. The thick milkshake with Oreo bits and gummy worms are a fun-tastic way to enjoy the season. Perfect for trick-or-treaters of any age, the new Mud Shake is a must try at P180.

This Halloween, Honeybon is conjuring up a fun and frightfully delicious treat with its latest offering: the Design it Yourself Monster House.

Perfect for adding a dash of spooky sweetness to celebrations, this haunted house decorating kit is available now in stores and online.

The Monster House kit includes everything needed to bring spooky creations to life. The kit includes a bare monster house just waiting to be transformed into a haunted masterpiece with purple, orange, black, and white icing, and a bag of ghoulish goodies that includes chocolate candies to mini breadsticks, creepy gummy worms, teeth, eyeballs, and sprinkles.

CITY OF DREAMS MANILA

The City of Dreams Manila brings out spooky surprises, fun-filled activities, and non-stop excitement this Halloween season at Café Society, CenterPlay, and DreamPlay, where participants in a Halloween costume contest have a chance to win an overnight stay at Hyatt Regency Manila.

The place-to-be during the spooky season, the world’s first DreamWorks-inspired family entertainment center stages its annual Halloween activity on November 1, as it presents a new Halloween adventure. 

Dubbed as “Troll or Treat”, the adventure features Dreamworks’ well-loved Trolls characters Poppy and Branch.

To join the fun, guests can avail of the Troll or Treat package offered for P2,999, which comes with an all-day pass at DreamPlay. Registration starts at 10 a.m. while DreamPlay attractions open at 11 a.m. The package also provides an access to a host of spectacular activities starting at 1 p.m. for ages five years old and above. 

These include Pumpkin Hunt and Halloween balloon pop activity at the DreamTales Library, where special treats and prizes are at stake; 2D Halloween movie showing; meet-and-greet with DreamPlay characters; and the Troll or Treat.

Runway costume contest, where the winner is awarded an overnight stay at Hyatt Regency Manila’s King or Twin Room with breakfast for two.

Poppy and Branch are also set to tour the registered participants around The Shoppes at the Boulevard for a Trick-or-Treat activity in the participating restaurants and retail outlets: Red Ginger, Hidemasa, Jing Ting, Rossi Pizza, Chez Gingy, Café Society, Wolfgang Steakhouse Grill, Gangnam Sanghae Premium, Mango Tree, Modern Table 082, Alfredulla, Hakken, Bally, and BDO. The Halloween event package also comes with a free Troll or Treat tote bag and mug. 

DreamPlay is open to other guests on November 1, at the usual entrance charge of P1,500 for participating fee and P350 for non-participating fee.

No Tricks, Just Treats at Café Society: Eerily delightful pastries and confections perfect for trick-or-treat activities are available at Café Society from October 21 to November 1. The playful Halloween-themed offerings include a Witch Pot Cake (P2,200), Pumpkin Coffin Cake (P1,500), Witch’s Trio of Mini Cakes (P600), Haunted Bricks Chocolate Bar (P350), and Scary Halloween Cookies (P400 for five pieces), among other choices.

Spooky Halloween Cocktails at CenterPlay: At the center of the gaming floor, CenterPlay delights with Halloween-inspired specialty beverages available for the whole month of November from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. For P500, guests can choose from five choices of tipples: Nightmare, Potion Ivy, Haunted Spirit Sour, Bloody Marga, and Amarantha.

A cool snack and cocktail lounge, CenterPlay offers light meals, signature cocktail concoctions, beers, wines, and other beverages, and features trendy and contemporary music by live bands and DJs nightly.

ROBINSONS MALLS

This October, Robinsons Malls invites you to "Halloween Chills; Thrill" — a no tricks, all treats Halloween celebration for the whole family.

Happening in several Robinsons Malls nationwide, kids can unleash their creativity in the Children’s Costume Contest from October 26 to 31, while young barkadas (from 3 to 8 kids each) can team up for the all-new “Squad Edition” for a chance to win awesome prizes. Horror movie fans can catch spine-tingling films like Saw X and 13 Exorcisms at HorrorKada Fest in participating Robinsons Movieworld cinemas from October 30 to November 5, with the ticket priced at just P120 pesos!
