P-Pop boy group BGYO set the stage ablaze with their phenomenal performance as they kicked off the 2024 LA Fashion Week last October 19.

Asked about their experience in LA Fashion Week, BGYO group leader Gelo shared: "Sobrang saya ko during and after that moment, kasi nakikita ko talaga yung genuine reactions ng mga tao... Ang gaan ng pakiramdam while performing, and as usual, 'yung boys, they gave their best while performing on stage."

"Our experience performing in LA Fashion Week was very different because we didn't plan. It was not on our schedule, it was a surprise for us. We are very grateful because we met a lot of different models from different countries," Nate Porcalla said.

BGYO member Akira Morishita, for his part, shared that it's their first time meeting the Filipina-American social media star and singer Bella Poarch. "Na-starstruck kami kasi mas maganda siya sa personal. Her personality is really amazing, and Filipino talent is genuinely well-known throughout the world," he said.

Meanwhile, Filipino-American choreographer and musician Brian Puspos showed full support to the boy group, posting an Instagram story of BGYO's performance during the 39th Annual Friendship Games.

Gelo stated that he and Nate look up to Puspos as one of their inspirations, and to get that type of support inspires him to continue what he's doing, even in the face of critics and those who don't see his potential.

Along with their back-to-back performances, the boy group has reached 140,000 monthly listeners on Spotify after they performed in celebration of this year's Bacolod City MassKara Festival.

Nate expressed gratitude to fans supporting their music: "We got to perform in front of a new crowd, and we also met some old ACEs. We're thankful for our listeners, and hopefully they can keep sharing [our songs] because we have some stuff lined up and we're ready," he said.
