MANILA -- In an effort to bring a real-world experience to children, interactive role play center KidZania Manila has added more attractions for kids.

Apart from trying out various professions, children can now take leadership roles at KidZania Manila through CongreZZ.

Twenty kids aged 7 to 14 were recently inaugurated to be part of CongreZZ, which was lead by Senator Edgardo Angara.

For a more realistic election experience, kids underwent mock campaigns and polls. It aimed to encourage kids to share their ideas and opinions on various topics concerning the play city.

Meanwhile, KidZania Manila has also launched the new Home Finishing attraction in partnership with construction and engineering company, First Balfour.

Here, children can experience working as electricians and painters. The 15-minute activity allows kids to fix electrical wirings, power up appliances, and even paint walls.

KidZania Manila currently has 70 establishments with more than 100 role-playing activities that kids will enjoy. This is part of its continuing commitment to raise awareness on the value of role-play among school children and their parents.

With the help of marketing communications agency Strategic Works, Inc., KidZania Manila recently bagged the Quill Award of Excellence in communications management from the Philippine Quill Awards.

KidZania is locally franchised by Play Innovations, Inc., whose majority stakeholder is ABS-CBN Corporation.
