MANILA – A number of resorts and spas in the Philippines have been nominated in this year’s AsiaSpa Awards, dubbed as the most anticipated and respected spa and wellness event in the region.

Now on its 12th year, the AsiaSpa Awards will be held in Hong Kong on November 16. Three new categories were added this year – Phyto Line of the Year, Couple’s Treatment of the Year, and Asian Ritual Product of the Year – with the nominees to be judged by industry experts.

The Philippine nominees include:

- Borehilot Massage, Devarana Spa, Dusit Thani Hotel Manila (Spa Treatment of the Year)
- Pulbos Alkalina or Oxy Powder Treatment, Healing Sanctuary Spa, The Farm at San Benito (Medi-Spa Treatment of the Year)
- Thalassotherapy for Anti-aging, Aegle Wellness Center, Balesin Island Club, Quezon (Medi-Spa Treatment of the Year)
- Alive! Cuisine, Healing Sanctuary Spa, The Farm at San Benito (Spa Cuisine of the Year)
- The Farm at San Benito (Destination Hotel/Resort of the Year)
- Atmosphere Resorts, Dauin (Family-friendly Hotel/Resort of the Year)
- El Nido Resorts Miniloc Island, Palawan (Family-friendly Hotel/Resort of the Year)
- Shangri-La Resort and Spa Boracay, Aklan (Family-friendly Hotel/Resort of the Year)
- El Nido Resort Pangulasian Island, Palawan (Eco-Hotel/Resort of the Year)
