Charice Jala, a second-year law student, considers the cafe her favorite study place since customers are required to speak softly -- just like a real library -- allowing her to concentrate more on studying.

Bobby Flores, who owns The Librewry, said he came up with the concept after seeing a clamor for unique study places in the city. As a community-based worker, he said he also sees his business as an advocacy to help promote education.
