CAGAYAN DE ORO - If you are looking for a quiet place to study, relax, drink coffee with a good book, then this newly opened library-themed cafe in this city is worth a visit.

Complete with a study table, The Librewry is now the new haven for students who want to take their study sessions to a different level.

Aside from novels and fiction books, the cafe also has a collection of reference books to help students.

Charice Jala, a second-year law student, considers the cafe her favorite study place since customers are required to speak softly -- just like a real library -- allowing her to concentrate more on studying.

Bobby Flores, who owns The Librewry, said he came up with the concept after seeing a clamor for unique study places in the city. As a community-based worker, he said he also sees his business as an advocacy to help promote education.

The cafe also features local products from Northern Mindanao like pastries and coffee.

It also invites local artists to showcase their art in the cafe for free.

For only P20 per hour customers can enjoy reading books in this cafe.
