This as Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has partnered with the city-state's popular nightclub Zouk for a series of free virtual parties -- complete with augmented reality filters and 3D virtual backgrounds -- for audiences around the world.

In a statement, organizers said "Zouk Phuturescapes" will kick off on May 29 in the United States, followed by parties in the rest of Asia and Australia on May 30, and in the United Kingdom on May 31.

Performers include American DJ Diplo, British DJ Christina Novelli, Zouk's resident DJs LeNERD and Che’Molly, and Singapore-based talents DJ KoFlow, rapper Yung Raja, and singer-songwriter Jasmine Sokko.
