Together, they have explored the Himalayas and the tallest of the Atlas mountains in North Africa.The two never imagined that one day, they will finally tie the knot at the most unexpected place: at home.<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2020/life/04/23/wphoto-2.jpg"/><figcaption>Photo Courtesy of Proudrad</figcaption></figure></div>Vianka is a wardrobe stylist and entrepreneur ,while Coby leads a hiking group, and is a saxophone player.The couple got engaged in Portugal late last year and vowed to get married in the tranquil mountains of Sagada on November 2020.But the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic stalled their plans.Being the adventurous people as they are, Vianka and Coby made a very unusual, and quite spontaneous decision. They decided to hold their wedding online, with the entire entourage attending and marching via Zoom.<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2020/life/04/23/wphoto-3.jpg"/><figcaption>Photo Courtesy of Popoy Cangao</figcaption></figure></div>&quot;The lockdown happened and we both agreed that given the circumstances, holding a Sagada wedding won’t be 100% safe for our guests even later this year, which will defeat the purpose of gathering all our loved ones to witness our special day,&quot; said the bride.&quot;Living together on quarantine, we’ve been catching up with friends through the Zoom app and that sparked the idea of holding a Zoom wedding. Always choosing love in any circumstance, we have decided to go for it -- gather our loved ones to witness and celebrate with us, the soonest possible within our resources.&quot; she added.It took the couple a total of five days to prepare for the online ceremony.&quot;We had online meetings with our friend Carlo Sumaoang who is our officiant and master of ceremonies, and my bridesmaid Keina Sabay who became our Zoom event director,&quot; Vianka told ABS-CBN News.It was quite a challenge organizing the wedding under quarantine. Vianka recalled having everything delivered via Grab or Lalamove.Despite being locked at home, Vianka went to her wedding in a gown and veil, while Coby was dashing in his suit.All set from the color palette, wedding hashtag #LetsMakeitHappyn, and invites rolled out online, the couple had a tech run on the eve of the big day.Last April 20, the wedding didn&#x27;t go without fanfare.Their guests attended the virtual ceremony all dolled up in gorgeous dresses and three-piece suits. The event is like a breath of fresh air, so our guests are all looking forward to dress up and attend too,&quot; Vianka told ABS-CBN News.&quot;One of our ninangs said that it’s a beautiful reflection of our personalities -- spontaneous, lightness of being and creative,&quot; she added.Asked about their plans of holding a physical celebration with families and friends after the quarantine, the couple said they will be having a civil wedding right after the lifting of the lockdown.&quot;We still wish to physically celebrate with our families and friends when the situation allows, but in simpler gatherings.&quot;The couple also has a message to other lovebirds who might be planning to get married online because of the new normal.&quot;Even if plans seem to be perfect, there are things that we cannot control. Go back to that one thing that bound you as a couple. Look beyond the event itself and focus on the bigger picture -- your marriage life and the people, even a few of them, you want to share it with.&quot; Vianka said.Certainly, their wedding from home gave more color to their already colorful life.&quot;It was a source of happiness in this time of uncertainty, not only to the both of us, but also to our guests.&quot;
