MANILA – (UPDATED) Celebrity and environment advocate Julian Lennon has been invited by the Department of Tourism to visit the Philippines, particularly Manila and Boracay, to help in the agency’s sustainability campaign.

And the son of Beatles member John Lennon has been enjoying his stay in the country, as seen in his many photos and videos on Instagram.

He has visited both historical spots and local hangouts, but one thing particularly caught his attention – a lemonade stand.

“Hmm,” Julian wrote, as he shared a photo of him posing in front of the juice bar, which is named “Johnn Lemon.”

The younger Lennon did not stop there as he bought a drink at Johnn Lemon and took a photo of it, putting an emoji of a face with a hand covering its mouth as the only caption.

Fans flooded Julian’s Instagram page with comments, saying they find his photos at the lemonade stall hilarious.

“Surely they would give you a discount!” one Instagram user quipped.

Another said: “This is a meme.”

Julian’s half-brother, Sean Ono Lennon, also joined the conversation. He said: “So that’s where we’re from!”

To which Julian replied in jest: “I’ve been meaning to tell you, just hasn’t been the right time.”

Julian is Lennon’s son with his first wife, Cynthia. Sean, on the other hand, is the Beatles member’s son with artist Yoko Ono, his second wife.

Aside from being a photographer and film producer, Julian is also the founder of The White Feather Foundation, which deals with environmental and humanitarian issues in different parts of the world.
