MANILA – Marvin Agustin has opened his first restaurant in San Francisco, California.

On Instagram, the actor-turned-entrepreneur shared pictures of the food and drinks offered at Bao Down, located at Lower Nob Hill near Union Square.

He likewise expressed his excitement to be part of the project along with his Canadian chef partners.

“I'm very happy to announce that my first restaurant in San Francisco, California is finally open,” he wrote.

According to its website, Bao Down offers “a unique twist on Pacific Rim cuisines that include a blend of culinary traditions, authentic ingredients and distinct cooking techniques.”

Agustin, who previously took up culinary courses, has built a restaurant empire in the last few years.

His business venture already spanned to at least 50 restaurants and 11 brands.
