House leaders on Friday honored Catriona Gray, the fourth Filipina to win the coveted Miss Universe title.

Clad in a matching dark purple outfit, Gray beamed as the members of the House, led by Deputy Speaker Mercedes Alvarez, welcomed her and praised her as the "ideal modern Filipina."

Gray, who had volunteered to help children living in the slums, earlier voiced out her concerns over the issue of lowering the minimum age of criminal responsibility.
