Jolina Magdangal and Janine Gutierrez's BFF chemistry is too strong!

The two Kapamilya actresses deliver captivating performances in their scenes together in the trending series “Lavender Fields.” Despite their characters' contrasting personalities—Janine's Iris Buenavidez is perpetually miffed and dangerous, while Jolina's Lily Atienza acts as the grounding force for her tumultuous best friend—their dynamic just works perfectly.

They have proven time and again that they are each other's ride-or-die, especially during that season when Lily faced her darkest hours. She was on the brink of taking her own life by overdosing on substances due to the depression caused by her struggles to conceive with her husband, Lance (Biboy Ramirez), and the presence of another woman in his life. In that moment of desperation, Iris was the only one who truly 'saved' Lily.

That's why, even when Lance ordered her to stay away from Iris for the sake of their child's safety—reasons that seem suspiciously hidden—Lily stood firm and refused to abandon her best friend.

It’s also amusing how, in the series, Iris is very close to Lily's child, which is mirrored in real life with Janine also having a great connection with Jolina’s daughter, Vika Escueta. In fact, they’ve shared several memorable moments together, as Jolina often brings Vika to the set of “Lavender Fields,” allowing her to juggle her mommy duties while working. In one photo, you can see her helping her 'kikay' mini-me with schoolwork during a break from taping.

In another series of behind-the-scenes posts, Vika is caught having a great time playing with Janine, and with Jericho Rosales as well.

Vika even gave Janine a special gift: super cute mini bags and a handwritten dedication letter with a heart she drew on the cover. It read, "Tita Nini, from Vika."

Aww! How cute! In the caption, Jolina wrote, "Bagong besties ni Vika!"
