For the "It’s Showtime” hosts, who all juggle insanely hectic schedules throughout the year, the Holy Week break offers one of the precious few opportunities to reconnect with their families. They also observe the solemnity of this time through moments of prayer and devotion. Here’s how they’ll be spending the Lenten season.

As a mom, Amy Perez makes sure her children understand the reason behind Holy Week, which is why she prioritizes taking them to church, especially on Easter Sunday. it's a time for them to reflect and deepen their connection with God. Part of cleansing their souls is also getting rid of toxic elements from their household; Tyang Amy calls this her “general cleaning time.”

We all know that Anne Curtis jets off to various local and international destinations during long breaks like this, and this year is no different. She mentioned that their family is still deciding on their itinerary and that, of course, they will carve out time for reflection amidst their travels.

We all spend the Holy Week differently based on our beliefs and traditions. MC revealed his plan to go home to his family in Pampanga where they uphold a yearly tradition of participating in processions on Holy Wednesday and Good Friday.

Meanwhile, Lassy and his family will practice Visita Iglesia in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

Rather than jetting off to South Korea to meet with his family there, Ryan Bang invited them to visit him in the Philippines instead. “Mas masaya dito,” he smiled. We also learned from our favorite oppa that in Korea, some observe the Holy Week, which holds significance akin to Thanksgiving Day for them.

Cianne Dominguez, on the other hand, bared that she and co-host Jackie Gonzaga are actually planning to go to La Union to have their well-deserved vacation

The “It’s Showtime” fam will make the most of the extended break before their schedule ramps up again for their debut on GMA Network's main channel starting April 6. “Dahil pinapasok kami dito sa GMA, baka dito na ako mag-spend ng Holy Week ko,” joked Vhong Navarro. In contrast to Ryan's stay-at-home plans, Vhong is set to spend the Holy Week traveling to Korea with his family, taking advantage of this only time when their busy schedules align.
