The ‘Unkabogable’ love journey of Vice Ganda and Ion Perez

<p>A day before Valentine’s Day, <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/itsshowtime"><strong><u>It’s Showtime</u></strong></a> mainstays Vice Ganda and Ion Perez surprised everyone with the grand revelation that they’re already married! In the latest vlog uploaded in the Unkabogable Star’s YouTube channel, it was disclosed that they tied the knot in an intimate civil ceremony at the famous “The Little Las Vegas Chapel” on October 19, 2021.</p><div><iframe allow="autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="314" scrolling="no" src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Ffb.watch%2FbeINrJuABQ%2F&amp;width=560&amp;show_text=false&amp;height=314&amp;appId" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" width="560"></iframe></div><p>And in this episode of Kapamilya Update, let’s reminisce the beautiful life the beloved couple have shared together in the past three years!</p><p>Their love story began to unfold when Ion was part of the live audience in an episode of <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/ggv"><strong><u>Gandang Gabi Vice</u></strong></a> in 2017 and he caught the attention of the gregarious host. Their impromptu skits alongside “Ate Girl” Jackie Gonzaga indeed brought <em>kilig</em> and good vibes to the <em>madlang </em>people, which further intensified when Ion introduced his Mommy Zeny to Vice when she watched the show live in 2018 on his son’s birthday.</p><p>In March 2019, Ion admitted that the Unkabogable Star is “special” for him during his special appearance in an episode of GGV where “Eerie” lead stars Charo Santos-Concio and Bea Alonzo were the guests. When asked what he was frightened of, he told them he was afraid that what was going on between them would come to an end.</p><p>The following month, it was Ion’s turn to meet Vice’s beloved Nanay Rosario and sister Emma when they visited and he asked them “Pwede ba ako sa puso niya?” It was then reported that Ion joined the Unkabogable host and his family during their trip to Canada.</p><p>The meeting of their families in Ion’s hometown in Tarlac in July 2019 went viral online, and in October 2019, they finally admitted their relationship during the 10<sup>th</sup> anniversary celebration of <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/itsshowtime"><strong><u>It’s Showtime.</u></strong></a> Vice introduced him by saying, “You don’t need to be loved by the whole world. You only need yourself and one person that you love to accept and love you back. After that, he further made the hearts of the <em>madlang </em>people flutter when he proudly showed the tattoo on his left leg where Vice’s birthday was inked.</p><p>And on their third anniversary as a couple in October 2021, they marked it by getting hitched! Although he accepted it, Vice told his friends to delete any photo or video they captured from their phones, and even tried with all his might to hide it from anyone including the bosses, as he didn’t want to share it yet to the public in fear of being ridiculed and judged.</p><p>The Unkabogable Star then disclosed how they actually dreamt of having a grand ceremony, but the pandemic happened which prohibited huge gatherings. However, both of them were already eager to get married so they did it even without the presence of their families and friends, and with just $5 wedding rings.</p><p>And after hiding it for almost four months, they finally decided to share it a day before Valentine’s! They conveyed not expecting the overwhelming support and well-wishes they’ve been receiving ever since the video was published – as it seemingly relieved everyone’s stress and put a brief ceasefire in the scorching debates online with regards to the upcoming elections – which they truly appreciated.</p><p>Since they still wanted to celebrate it with the people dear to them and with the <em>madlang </em>people, they’re eyeing to hold a celebration here in the Philippines as well.</p><p>Congratulations and best wishes, Vice Ganda and Ion!</p>
