Divine Tetay, or simply Tetay, has definitely felt the love, love, love from the madlang people during his stint as a reliever co-host on “It's Showtime” while his friends MC and Lassy were off in the U.S. for a series of shows with the Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda.

Ever wondered what it's really like to be a guest co-host on the noontime program? In his latest vlog on his YouTube channel, Tetay gives us a behind-the-scenes look at his It's Showtime experience.

He takes us into the dressing room they let him use—none other than Vice Ganda's! Even though he's just a "saling pusa," he really felt the warmth and care with a whole area dedicated to his makeup routine.

While getting glammed up, he took a moment to chat with his followers! He mentioned that even though he's just filling in for MC and Lassy, his mindset is always to give his all and be on his toes since quick wit is key on “It's Showtimes” brand of hosting. Honestly, we think this is why the viewers absolutely adore Tetay—his effortless comedy just hits different.

The video then shifts to stills from the episode (October 2), where in the opening, his fellow hosts challenged him to belt out "Lason Mong Halik" by Katrina Velarde, the guest artist that day. As expected, he made everyone burst out laughing when he sang with spot-on impersonations of Kris Aquino and Zsa Zsa Padilla.

He also showcased his hosting flair and delivered hilarious punchlines in the other segments "Kalokalike Face 4" and "Tawag Ng Tanghalan The School Showdown."

So, this is what it’s like to be a ‘Showtime host’—the good vibes even spill into the hallways! In the video, you’ll catch Tetay joking around with Bela Padilla, who was also a guest co-host that day.

Backstage, he got the stamp of approval from none other than Zsa Zsa's daughter, Karylle, who, on a more heartfelt note, expressed her gratitude for Tetay always stepping in when the show needs his presence. Karylle reminded him to make the most of every chance, whether it's hosting a single episode or more.

As the vlog went on, Tetay shared how much he enjoys being with the group, as they always make him feel at home. He's seen saying goodbye to the other hosts since it was his last day filling in for MC and Lassy.

You can really notice just how close he is with the ‘Showtime’ family, like Ryan Bang, who treats him like an "auntie" because of his friendship with his "mommy" Vice.

And as the other hosts mentioned, they’re the ones who appreciate the comedian’s contribution in those episodes. The clip may be packed with laughter, but we can’t help but be moved by Jhong Hilario’s message to Tetay, saying, "Kami ang dapat magpasalamat sa'yo kasi binigyan mo ng ibang flavor ang 'Showtime.' So, thank you."

Vhong Navarro chimed in, "Napakahusay mo, Tetay. Hindi ko alam paano mo naa-absorb 'yung mga personalities na pumapasok sa pagkatao mo." He added, "Salamat sa oras mo, Tetay."

"Ikaw lang, sapat na," Amy Perez told him. And true enough, in this part of the vlog shot in the pantry, Tetay was cracking jokes all on his own, yet he had Amy, Vhong, Jhong, and Darren Espanto laughing hysterically at every punchline.

After saying his ‘thank you,’ he returned to his dressing room and reflected on his It's Showtime gig. He admitted that it was tough at first, especially waking up early for a noontime program after performing at comedy bars until the early hours. However, he eventually got the hang of it.

He also felt genuinely happy with the support from the OG hosts, saying, "Parang ang tagal n'yo nang magkakasama, considering na recently lang naman, pero they welcomed me, they embraced me."

"Nagpapasalamat ako sa chance na binigay sa akin dahil hindi naman lahat nabibigyan ng ganitong chance. Dahil binigay sa akin, ninamnam ko at in-enjoy ko."

His hard work certainly calls for some pampering time! To ease the 'sepanx' for the “It's Showtime” squad, he decided to treat himself to a facial session. Let’s just say, he dozed off faster than a punchline leaves the audience in stitches!

Raise your hand if you wish to see Tetay back on “It's Showtime! After all, we can never have too many comedians bringing the laughter!
